Lucy the cat
thingiverse
Model this feline in Maya, inspired by my personal pet. The design allows for simple printing, even with zero fill percentage and no external support required. For additional tips on preparing models for 3D printing in Maya, visit http://zoltanb.co.uk/tips-and-tricks-on-preparing-complex-models-for-3d-printing/. Print time is approximately 12 minutes (Ultimaker). Share your feedback; all comments and critiques are welcome - just don't mention my cat's size! Additionally, try the new lucycat-large.stl file for bigger, shinier, and cuter prints. This version has higher resolution and a modified tail for easier printing. For translucent prints, set parameters to 1 perimeter, 0 solid layers, and 0 fill density. For larger prints, use the lucycat-large.stl file with 2 perimeters, 10 solid layers, and 0 fill density.
