Lucky Love Clover
thingiverse
I created Lucky Love Clover using the heart from a SCAD tutorial we did in class and translated it into a four-leaf clover shape. The process started with a square that had two cylinders next to it, which were then translated into the square to form a heart. With one heart complete, I made a second heart by reflecting the original across from it. Instead of stopping there, I rotated the hearts to create a four-leaf clover. This resulted in transforming four hearts into one four-leaf clover, earning its name Lucky Love Clover. I successfully printed this design on my Makerbot Replicator (5th generation) using red ABS plastic. A 20% fill gave me a print time of 21 minutes. To ensure an even base layer, I printed the part with a raft underneath. After waiting about 5 minutes to allow my print to cool, I carefully removed the raft, giving me just the clover.
