Lucky Extruder (Proper) Multi-Color
thingiverse
I've re-mixed Kwaad2's original for multi-material. In the process, I've also set clearances to a more proper **0.1mm** - in my opinion, a zero clearance fit really isn't the right way to calibrate your extruder. This part makes an **excellent** calibration part for the Palette 2. If you have your eSteps set correctly and your extrusion multiplier correct, this part should print and calibrate the Palette well. If the parts don't fit together without forcing, you're either over-extruding or your eSteps are not correct. Refer to https://mattshub.com/2017/04/19/extruder-calibration/ for an excellent article on how to calibrate your extruder. Another nice thing about using this as a calibration part for the Palette is it's a small print that prints in less than 50 minutes, and uses very little filament. Another benefit of this part is you have three critical dimensions that you can measure after you print it - these also give you an idea of the health of your printer and another checkpoint for your extrusion multiplier. Refer to the sketch for those dimensions, and compare them to your printed part. I've also included a single-color version for those who don't have multi-color capabilities - the calibration aspects of this still fully apply.
