Lucky 7 Blower Duct for E3D v6 Hot End (Rostock MAX / Orion)
thingiverse
If you've got an E3D mounted underneath your effector, you can make use of three little blower fans made by SeeMeCNC along with three more for part cooling. I have witnessed overhangs reaching as high as 70 degrees print pretty well with no support (65 with a lot more reliability). You can pick up these blowers at: http://seemecnc.com/collections/parts-accesories/products/30mm-x-10mm-blower-fan. If you're still in need of part cooling, try printing at 20mm/sec without any support - the parts will turn out just fine. It's recommended to set your layer height to 0.1 for keeping the interior surface as smooth as possible. Once your part is done printing, use small self-tapping screws to secure it to the three points of the triangle. I used some #3, 3/4" flat tapping wood screws from McMaster-Carr myself. The ducts are just a few millimeters away from my heater block, yet there's no sign of any melting taking place whatsoever.
