Lucky 13 skin: Mega Man

Lucky 13 skin: Mega Man

prusaprinters

I'm going back to retro video game characters for a minute and making some Mega Man skins. First up is Mega Man himself. If you're looking for the other skins in the pictures, you can find the Rush skin here and the Mets skin here. LUCKY 13 PIECES NEEDED   On top of downloading my files, you will need to download some of the pieces from the original Lucky 13 model. I've separated them by color to help make it easier. If there is a [2X] in the title, that means you need two of that piece. That goes for both the files that I've uploaded as well as the Lucky 13 pieces I'm linking to below. LIGHT BLUE 00A03 armature chest.stl00A04 armature abdomen.stl00A07 [2X] armature clavicle.st00A08 [2X] armature shoulder.stl00A09L armature upper arm left.stl00A09R armature upper arm right.stl00A10L [2X] armature forearm left.stl00A10R [2X] armature forearm right.stl00A11 [2X] armature glute.stl00A12 [2X] armature thigh.stl00A13 [2X] armature knee.stl00B04 skin chest 2.stl00B05 skin abdomen.stl DARK BLUE00A01 armature head.stl00A02 armature neck.stl00A14 [2X] armature shin.stl00A05 armature waist.stl00A06 armature hips.stl00A15L armature foot left.stl00A15R armature foot right.stl00B06 skin waist.stlYou will need at least one right hand. The following list are the basic hands originally released with the Lucky 13 model however there are lots of different hands out there, you just have to search for them. 00A17R armature hand flat right.stl00A18R armature hand neutral right.stl00A19R armature hand dynamic right.stl00A20R armature hand fist right.stl00A21R armature hand grip right.stlASSEMBLYAssembly shouldn't be too difficult. It is assembled pretty much the same way a regular Lucky 13 is assembled. If you're not familiar with Lucky 13 assembly, check out the Lucky 13 manual. To assemble the helmet, first take Helmet part 2 [2X] - Red and fit it into Helmet part 1 [2X] - Light Blue. Take the assembled Helmet part 1&2 as well as Helmet part 3 - Light Blue and Helmet part 4 - Light Blue and fit them into Helmet - Dark Blue as seen in the following picture.   Assembly of the blaster is straightforward. Blaster Laser - Red fits into Blaster Hand - Light Blue and that fits into the forearm just like a normal hand would. The two halves of Blaster Wrist - Dark Blue then fit over the forearm similar to the same way a regular forearm skin would. Same deal with the right arm. The two pieces of Regular Wrist - Dark Blue fit over the forearm similar to a regular forearm skin. The hand can be changed after the skin is put together. The shin assembles the exact same way a regular shin assembles except that you'll have to connect Knee [2X] - Light Blue to 00A14 [2X] armature shin.stl before putting the shin on.  NOTES: Supports will be necessary for Upper Arms - Light Blue, Helmet - Dark Blue and Helmet part 3 - Light Blue. These skins were a lot of fun to make and Mega Man has a rather large catalogue of villains so you can expect some of them in the future. Be sure to check out all of my Lucky 13 skins hereI'm sure there are things I'm missing so this will probably be updated over the next couple days.
