Luciferin Fungi
thingiverse
Luciferin molecule, based on the legendary Lucifer, "the light-bringer," is a catch-all term for the radiant compound found in organisms that produce bioluminescence. I crafted this luminous molecule necklace as a way to showcase my affection for all the glowing fungi! Though numerous bio-luminescent molecules exist in nature, this one is inspired by the fungal variant. When printed with glow-in-the-dark PLA or painted to radiate, it creates an engaging and educational pendant. I designed the STL file to print 12 at a time as I generously distribute them at festivals. If printed flat, it requires no supports or rafts. It takes approximately two hours on my Creality CR10-S to print all of them at a 0.15 layer height.
