I picked up some basic wifi-based door contacts to integrate into a smart-home system, The manufacturer thought double-sided tape would be sufficient for installation. Well, nothing in my home gets attached to anything "just with double-sided tape", period! So I fired up Tinkercad, designed the brackets in 30 minutes and let them print for 1.5 hours, and I had mounting brackets! To screw into place.\r\n\r\nI've updated the design with a new bracket to mount the magnet part flat on a door if needed, and added spacers for alignment.\r\n\r\nThis project was created using Tinkercad.
