LR-44 to AA Adapter
thingiverse
There's plenty of solutions to adapt from AAA to AA batteries on Thingiverse; and while LR-44 cells are generally used in other places, I was suprised to see no adapters to convert from LR-44 to AA. The use cases are niche and between far and few, but here it is anyway. This was designed for a weight reduction mod for the Logitech G305 (G304). The total weight of the mod with the cell should come around ~5 - 6g (although I haven't weighed it as of yet, and it could be lower). Well below the weight of a standard AA cell (~24g, Duracell) and a AAA cell (~11g, Duracell). There are two versions, and while you wouldn't be shedding a lot of weight in the superlight version (which, if you want to, can be made even lighter), its primarily there just for the aesthetics of it, because why not. The adapter is currenty made to make use of a M3 machine screw (of which I had a bunch lying around) but the design can be easily modified to suit your screw size. As is with everything, it still has room for plenty of improvement and I'd really appriciate any feedback. This was designed using Tinkercad under an hour and has been tested with my mouse and a standard LR44 I had lying around. Tinkercad Link for editing - https://www.tinkercad.com/things/ejGUEWT9zOQ
