LowRider2 X Axis Tube Spacer
prusaprinters
I left my LowRider 2 X axis 25.4mm tubes long on each side and I was curious as to how parallel the X axis tubes were after assembly so I made this to slip tightly over each end to compare the tension (or bow) on each side by slightly flexing the straight parts by hand. It fits tight over my pipes (friction fit. Inner hole diameter is 25.7mm) and were tapped on a few millimeters with rubber handle of tool to not damage the pipe. I think it would be useful to adjust the XZ assemblies also. I printed out of eSun PLA+ which flexes more (more elastic) than regular PLA. Center to center spacing of the holes is 126mm which was computed based on the 611 router plate dxf file hole spacings. If you made a similar part stiffer you probably could even use it to stiffen the X axis assembly by including it on either side of the XZ mains. I essentially did this already to make mounting brackets to the LowRider 2 X axis tubes to mount a case found here:https://www.printables.com/model/208255-skr-pro-v12-case-with-many-gx16-connector-holes-veEnjoy!
