LowRider2 dust boot

I created this dust boot specifically for the LowRider2 because I couldn't find any suitable options available. The design is optimized for printing without supports in one piece, featuring four mounting points that can be screwed into the router plate. However, I've found that the two small taps at each end are sufficient to secure the boot firmly in place and prevent movement. Initially, I intended this dust boot to work in conjunction with a CNC dust boot brush purchased from Amazon, but it proved too stiff for my liking. To avoid putting excessive pressure on my Z motors while operating, I decided to replace the brushes with 2mm crafts foam, which can be sourced at Walmart or similar stores for approximately 50 cents per 9x12 sheet. Simply cut the foam to your preferred height and add slits as wide or narrow as desired. You can use superglue to secure the foam in place, or – as I did – employ splines designed for window screens, which provide a perfect fit and allow for easy replacement if needed.
