Lowrider2 CNC - Z-Roller Tensioner

Lowrider2 CNC - Z-Roller Tensioner

thingiverse

As some owners of a Lowrider2 CNC might know, the rollers of the Z-axis tend to warp or to loose their tension on the tubes. If this happens, dimensions and geometrical accuracy of your workpieces begin to get worse... To solve this problem and to bring loose bearings back in contact with the tubes, I designed these tensioners (colored in red transparent). I only designed parts for 1 tube - of course you will have to print each one twice and also 2 sets of mirrored parts. You will need additional hardware as follows: 8x M4x40 bolts for tension 8x M4 nuts 4x M8x30 bolts to bolt the upper one to the Y-plates 4x M8 nuts 8x M8 washers
