Sharpie Pen Mount for MPCNC Lowrider V2 611 Plate. Update - December 30, 2019. The design has been revamped, ditching wooden dowels and rubber bands in favor of more robust components. Two 3-inch long, 1/4-inch diameter 20 bolts now hold the mount together, while a single 3/4-inch long, 1/4-inch diameter 20 wing bolt provides additional support. To maintain tension, five sixteenth-inch springs have been added to replace the rubber bands. The updated design list includes: * Two 3-inch long, 1/4-inch diameter 20 bolts * One 3/4-inch long, 1/4-inch diameter 20 wing bolt * Five sixteenth-inch by one and an eighth-inch springs To assemble the mount, position the bottom model within the 611 plate and rotate it to secure in place. The design utilizes one quarter-inch wooden dowels as guides for the bottom model, while rubber bands apply tension, allowing the pen to move freely between the top and bottom models. A side hole on the top model accommodates a one quarter-inch bolt for locking the pen into place. The mount is designed to accommodate standard Sharpie pens. This design remains a work in progress, with ongoing improvements and refinements expected.
