Since my bed frame was crafted from sturdy 2"x4" wooden studs, I reengineered an end cap that would securely prevent the carriage from inadvertently rolling off the edge and provide a precise belt mounting location with optimal belt orientation. **UPDATE 5/30/2018** - To enhance my CNC's performance, I installed a reliable y-axis homing switch, prompting me to design a modified right end cap featuring an adjustable screw that enables easy calibration of the y-axis home position.
