This design will allow you to attach a transducer pole to your Lowrance Ghost using the existing 8mm bolt holes provided on the trolling motor. The plate is reversible with the insert taking up the space left from the opposite orientation. The transducer pole clamp is currently 35mm but can be modified to fit just about any pole diameter. My goal was to make use of an old electric steer trolling motor modified to mount the transducer and steer by remote control. My donor trolling motor was an old Motorguide electric steer that had a burned-out control board. I opened the case of the Motorguide, removed the old control board and replaced it with a DC motor control switch which includes 2 small remote controls (Amazon has several options for this part). After chopping off the motor from the donor, I was able to mount the forward facing sonar transducer to the Motorguide inner shaft. With this modification of the donor trolling motor, all I need was to mount this to the Lowrance Ghost and wire it into the boat's 12v supply. Similar aluminum mount plates for the Lowrance Ghost can be pricey! So, this printable design can get your contraption mounted to your Lowrance Ghost for the cost of the plastic and the few bolts required to put it all together.Additional Hardware:4 - M8X40 bolts4 - M8 washers2 - M6X45 bolts4 - M6 washers2 - M6 nuts
