Thanks to Sludrick for sparking this idea! I've remixed it with a focus on a 1.5 inch RAM mount ball. This setup will seamlessly connect to any Lowrance Fish finder that employs this type of mount, and my own Elite 4 CHIRP is no exception - I've been using it for quite some time now. Since I already use Ram 1.5 inch mounting balls on my kayak, this solution eliminates the need to purchase a separate RAM 1 to 1.5 inch adapter.
