They walked into the room and immediately noticed something was off. The air felt thick and heavy, like a physical presence that weighed them down. It was as if they had stepped into a different dimension, one where time itself seemed to be warped and distorted. The walls, once a stark white, now appeared to be a deep, foreboding grey. The furniture, which had always been neatly arranged, was now scattered about in disarray, as if some unseen force had tossed it aside like so much trash. They tried to move forward, but their feet seemed rooted to the spot. It was as if they were trapped in a never-ending nightmare from which they couldn't awaken. The silence was oppressive, a palpable force that pressed down upon them with crushing intensity. And then, out of nowhere, a voice spoke up. It was low and menacing, a growl that seemed to come from all around them at once. "Welcome," it said, the word dripping with malice. "I've been waiting for you."
