lowered version of Kossel top spool holder
cults3d
I built the spool holder with Emmet's Gear bearing, but then spotted a shelf hanging over my Kossel, leaving no room for the spool. Since most of the upper middle part of the tower goes unused, I decided to place the spool there by adjusting the spool holder's mount. After some trial and error, here's the result. You'll need M3 x 8 bolts and M3 nuts to make it secure, although not all holes may be necessary. I'm using this on a Kossel XL, but I have no way to test it on a smaller Kossel. If you're running one of those, please let me know if it works, so I can update the description accordingly.
