Lowered vent for Creality
thingiverse
When I installed my Nitro steel nozzle from hotends.fr, I noticed that the exhaust filament fan was positioned extremely high, effectively cooling the nozzle rather than the filament. To rectify this issue, I designed a longer duct for my Ender 3 Pro, incorporating the original design while adding a grid pattern to prevent support material accumulation in the vent duct. This custom duct will accommodate CR10, Ender 3, and likely numerous other printers; however, please be aware that the fan duct is positioned very low. As a result, it may not fit with the original nozzle. In my printer setup, I have a mere 0.5mm clearance between the fan duct and the bed during the first layer.
