This housing is crafted to perfectly accommodate BondTech BMG Drive Gears along with its tensioning lever. The mounting point for the V6 hot end has been lowered by approximately 20mm, enabling me to position the extruder atop a MGN12 rail and pair it with a 2020 aluminum extrusion without compromising free space between the 2020 extrusion and the print bed or top. To accommodate the inverted extruder gears, the e-stepper direction needs to be reversed. A teflon tube is carefully inserted at the top of the extruder to guide the filament smoothly. This part demands precise printing due to the bearings and shafts requiring tight tolerances for a smooth fit.
