Lower control arms- adjust wheelbase for Tamiya 40th Anniversary Porsche 934 84431 TA02SW
thingiverse
The Porsche 934 model, part of Tamiya's 40th Anniversary series, is marred by a design flaw: the TA02SW chassis was originally crafted to support a Porsche 993 GT2 body, featuring a 237mm wheelbase. In stark contrast, the 934 body requires a 230mm wheelbase. Once you lay eyes on this discrepancy, it's impossible to ignore. To rectify this issue, I designed new lower control arms that adjust the wheelbase to sit snugly within the fenders. A crucial note: you'll need a 2.5mm shock spacer or washer to be inserted between the uprights and upper control arms to maintain proper alignment. Moreover, bosses for shock screws have been sized to accommodate Tamiya's original self-tapping screws. The STEP file is included, allowing you to make the necessary modifications with ease.
