LowDrag_Quad
thingiverse
Normal QUADs have a negative lift, while this QUAD boasts positive lift and less drag than normal models. The model is designed for FPV with a little Sony camera mounted on its nose. The distance from propeller spinner to opposite propellerspinner measures 250 mm, and the weight of the QUAD ready for flight comes in at 530 Grams. This QUAD can be printed on printers with a printspace around 190x190x190 mm - it consists of 4 parts, which would be nicer if it were only 2, but that's not possible with a Prusa i3. The creators intended this design for Naze32 or CC3D flightcontrollers and Power Distribution Boards for the same, along with 3s batteries and kv2300 motors paired with a fitting propeller. To keep body parts aligned, use classical round toothpicks in the holes of the body. When setting up the flight controller, it might be a good idea to lift the front slightly so the wings are vertical when the QUAD is supposed to hang from the same spot.
