Low Voltage Regulator (12V)
thingiverse
I built a custom low voltage Regulator case with Motor speed control (PWM) knob since I couldn't find one that fit my needs on an online retailer. The case includes an additional housing that combines the Barrel plug and 4-pin fan connector into one unit. I struggled to find a suitable window basement setup, so I combined two 140mm case fans together. Each fan comes with a 4-pin connector, which I connected using a 2-to-1 adapter to a single plug connected to the voltage regulator. A 12v DC power supply was then plugged into the voltage regulator, where the Barrel plug came in handy. To assemble everything, use hot glue to secure your parts to the top piece (without clips) and then simply clip the bottom piece into place once you're done. This design does not include a wall mount; I used double-sided tape instead.
