This part was crafted to accommodate low-voltage HDMI, CAT5/6, and other assorted audio cables behind my LED TV and through the wall in my living room. It can be securely fastened to the wall directly with standard drywall screws or seamlessly fit into a standard single electrical outlet box. !!!CAUTION!!! This plate is specifically designed for LOW VOLTAGE CABLES ONLY. Never run any power cables through your wall. Running high-voltage cables through wall plates like these is a building code infraction almost everywhere.
