Low Stress XY Idler - Pulley Replacement for Hypercube
thingiverse
This is a drop-in replacement for the XY idlers on a hypercube, as shown in the pictures where blue parts replace the yellow ones. The reason for this design came about because my belts were getting worn from rubbing against raw bearings. However, with this arrangement, the belts travel through less curvature and are more directly guided around the bend. To assemble these units, you will need all the same components as used in the hypercube idlers. For two complete units (back right and back left), you'll require: - 2 of the Large Printed Part - 8 Small Printed Parts, each being half a pulley - 8 flanged 623zz bearings, where each snaps into one of the half-pulleys - 2 M3 Nyloc Nuts - 2 M3x35 screws (socket head type)
