low stress pawn

I volunteer at the McFarland Youth Center in Wisconsin, USA, to start a chess club for middle schoolers. The center purchased a No Stress Chess set from Toys R Us, which is perfect for kids because it allows them to receive a handicap and experience success early on while learning. One student borrowed the set over the weekend to challenge her father and was clearly excited about it, but unfortunately lost a pawn in the process. To enable the students to continue their learning, I designed and printed a replacement part. I used my Mostfun Pro printer with the following settings: - Rafts: No - Supports: No - Resolution: 0.2 layer thickness - Infill: 100% The model was sliced using Slic3r. I printed it in PLA plastic. To design the new pawn, I took measurements from an existing one and entered them into a 2D sketch in FreeCAD on the XZ plane. After completing the profile, I used the Rotate tool to convert it to 3D. Finally, I added chamfers to smooth out the sharp edges.
