Our commercial dog waterer has a large capacity in its two lower sections which can cause stale and dirty water, especially when the cat frequently plays in it. The design of this project aims to reduce the amount of unused water in the bottle. However, this item is quite bulky and requires considerable time and plastic for 3D printing, making it potentially an expensive project. To improve its cost-effectiveness, it could be redesigned as a "shell." After gluing all the components together using ABS plumbing cement, I smoothed and painted it with the same cement, sealing the pores and giving it a sleek finish.
