Wanted a lower profile ZMR 250 frame that houses all electronics and wiring within it. This design utilizes the ZMR base plate and arms while setting aside other parts from various projects. A hinge allows access to the VTX on top for easy channel changes. Use a piece of filament as the hinge pin, which may require minimal boring out. The hole on the right side accommodates the VTX antenna connected via a short SMA extension with a bulkhead connector. A USB plug fits into an opening located near the bottom left of the frame, while the rear features an XT60 connector hole. A printed clamp for the XT60 plug is designed to fit in the middle of the frame, but still requires some glue to secure it during use. The body and camera bump are engineered around a board camera using this 15-degree mount: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1057585. The camera bump glues onto the top plate, and the left piece is separate for adjustments or future camera setup changes. Landing gear is optional and utilizes the same mounting screws that hold the body together with some nuts on the bottom. It's recommended to use only short screws with the gear to avoid messing with nuts when removing the top plate. Hardware: * Interior screws: M3 x 12mm (use M3 nuts if you opt for gear) * Exterior screws: M3 x 38mm (or tap screw holes to 6-32 and use 1.5" screws) Pictures will be posted soon. Print Settings: Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro * Rafts: No * Supports: Yes * Infill: 100% * Notes: Printed at 100% infill for maximum strength using ABS.
