I decided to build a clone of the Mk2S Prusa, utilizing leftover parts from my Mk2.5 Full Bear upgrade. I chose to incorporate the printed y-axis designed by pcky, which can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2836470. After experimenting with several iterations of "squash ball feet" for sound isolation on my Mk2.5 Full Bear, I finally settled on dermatin's design, available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3385254. The low profile makes the setup more stable and looks great too. I initially installed some feet on the FrankenPrusa similar to these, which can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3323073, by drilling and tapping holes in the frame. However, they raised the unit too high and did not improve stability due to the narrow base. I was impressed with dermatin's low-profile design and knew I had to incorporate it into my FrankenPrusa. To achieve this, I created a remix of two designs: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3385254 & https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2836470. The foot is rotated 90 degrees to accommodate the PSU holder at the rear right. To mount the feet, you can use epoxy or scale them down so they fit snugly. My trial pieces stayed in place without any glue. As I had already drilled and tapped the y-axis pieces, I drilled a clearance hole and mounted my final set with screws. Update: On 10-02-2019, I realized that the longer foot for the right-rear foot wasn't fitting well due to its design. To resolve this issue, I replaced it with a new foot rotated by 90 degrees. Update: A week later on 11-02-2019, I had to provide additional clearance on the right, rear foot before it would fit properly.
