This is essentially a concise version of the standard Caliburn mag release lever. Its main purpose is to be used with the JET Katana mag adapter, preventing the adapter's own mag release from getting in the way. I find that it still works well enough for regular-sized mags, although results may vary. The minimalist design also appeals to me. 2 June 2018: An additional ridge was added to the bottom of the mag release for improved grip.
