Low Profile Pilot Dashboard
thingiverse
UPDATE 15/03/20: I've uploaded new versions of the Open Dashboard and the two Upgrade trays. These revised versions include changes to the sizes of the connectors. Pics have been added. End of Update. These items are designed for use in the X-Wing Miniatures Game (second edition), published by Fantasy Flight Games (FFG). They keep your Pilot and Upgrade cards, and associated tokens, tidy and easily accessible on the table. There's a Closed Dashboard with space for one Pilot card, one Configuration card, and two Upgrade cards, as well as tokens. There's also an Open Dashboard for when you need room for more than two upgrade cards. This works with the Extra Upgrade Cards - Open thing to add multiples of two upgrade cards, and the Extra Upgrade Cards - Closed thing to add two upgrade cards, close off the right-hand side wall, and remove the connector hole for aesthetics. The Closed Dashboard might be unnecessary since the Open Dashboard serves the same function. However, I've included it again for aesthetic reasons. There's room for improvement on these items. For example, at present, I'm holding the Pilot and Upgrade cards in place with Blu-tac to stop them from moving around. There must be a better design to achieve this. There is no side to the Configuration card slot on either Dashboard because many Configurations are designed to be flipped. Leaving the side open makes it easier to slide cards out to flip them. Ideas and suggestions to improve these items are welcome. For example, I've only included a basic token holder, and a token holder specifically designed for a T-65 X-Wing. If you want token holders for other ships or common ship configurations, let me know in the comments. Cheers.
