Low Profile Monitor Stand
thingiverse
I designed a compact stand for my Acer G227HQL 21.5" computer monitor to fit neatly on my bookshelf beside my desk. This stand uses the clip piece and two screws that hold the original stand in place, making it easy to install. The low-profile design gives the monitor just 12mm of clearance from the surface it's placed on, providing ample access to the buttons without taking up too much space. I printed this stand at a resolution of 0.4mm, but due to its sloping design, a higher resolution of 0.2mm would likely result in a smoother finish. However, I prioritized speed over perfection and didn't mind the slight stepping effect. The stand's footprint measures 150mm by 130mm, which is more than sufficient to keep the monitor stable at its low height.
