Most of them are semi-functional and useful, while others are purely inspirational. Let's start with something practical - a low-profile mount for IKEA's discontinued Kvartal curtain rail system. Here's how you can make it: 1. Simply print as many mounts as you need, keeping in mind that they only work on straight pieces. To blend them in with the rods, try printing them in silver, white, or aluminum. 2. Get some help from friends to hold up the rod while you drill pilot holes - it's much easier with a team! 3. Remove the curtain rod and drill holes in the mount at the outer diameter of your screws for a secure fit. 4. Mount your rail and enjoy the finished product!
