Based on my V5 design comes the sleekest E3D fan shroud yet! Note that no additional fixings are necessary, as it glides smoothly onto the heat spreader and stays put with ease. Having a secure option is always a plus. It's also an ideal cable management tool, as shown in our photos. !! ALERT !! Be extremely cautious when handling your heater block, as it sits perilously close to the lower plastic casing. For this reason, it's imperative to use ABS or other high-temperature resistant materials. PLA will likely melt at such temperatures! Make sure your screws aren't too long, or you risk damaging the fan with contact from the bottom screw. Install a shorter screw or remove it altogether to avoid disaster!
