Low profile 120mm fan adapter for the Thermalright AXP-100
thingiverse
This adapter lets you replace the TY-100 fan on Thermalright AXP-100 series low-profile CPU coolers with a 120mm fan. The adapter frame attaches using the side screw-holes that hold the original fan's metal clips in place, so those clips have to come off first. To mount the actual fan, you'll need M3 screws and M3 nuts. Countersunk screws are recommended for a secure fit. This design change was made to accommodate a 120mm fan in the Louqe Ghost S1 case, where it fits with minimal clearance - about 0.5mm of interference from the countersink screws, but enough room to close the side panel with some gentle persuasion. There's still room for improvement, and lowering the mounting system slightly might be possible, but for now this setup works just fine.
