Low Polygon Count Font
thingiverse
This font was designed with a focus on using minimal primitive triangles per letter. The idea naturally developed into a distinct letter style, although readability is sacrificed. Letters have varying widths, and "B" and "3" are almost identical. Polygons make up the shapes of each letter, with corner points slightly shifted to prevent non-manifold STL issues. A vector, fo, stores letter shapes with a key, str0, for accessing specific letters. Currently, only capital letters, numbers, and select special characters are included. Test prints would be appreciated due to sharp corners on some letters that may affect printer output quality. To use the font in your projects, simply include lowpolyfontv1_0.scad and call the type() module with a 80-character text limit; extending module pos() allows for longer texts.
