Low poly X-wing

Since I have an entire semester to indulge in some fun with OpenSCAD, I decided to tackle a massive project and create something incredibly detailed. So, here's my attempt at crafting an X-wing from the Star Wars universe. I'll keep updating it over the next few months as I continue to refine the design. Just to clarify, the sleek looking X-wing is one that I downloaded for inspiration. The one on the left is the model I'm designing myself. UPDATE (2/1/16): I added wings and laser cannons to give my X-wing a more formidable appearance. UPDATE (3/18/16): I incorporated engines into the design, bringing it closer to its iconic Star Wars form.
