Prototypes emerged in 1934, with mass production commencing in 1935 and lasting until 1940. Over 3,300 units of this type were manufactured throughout its lifespan. Powering the vehicle was a single 4-cylinder engine displacing 3.4 liters, generating 62 horsepower. The UNIC P107 transporter measured 4.85 meters in length and 1.8 meters in width.\n\nInitially designed at the Citroen plant as the successor to the Citroen-Kegresse P17 transporter, production rights and patents were eventually purchased by the Unic company due to the former's dire financial situation. The Unic factory launched production of this vehicle for use by French military forces. In service with the French army, the UNIC P107 was primarily utilized as an infantry transporter and artillery tractor for towing 75-105mm cannons. Following France's defeat in 1940, numerous vehicles were assimilated into German service. A significant number were modernized to serve as armored personnel carriers. It is worth noting that nearly 60 UNIC P107 units were ordered by Poland in August 1939 but did not arrive before the war's outbreak."
