The Low Poly Tetsujin 28-Go draws its inspiration from the super robot featured in Mitsuteru Yokohama's classic manga series, written and illustrated in 1956. 3D modeling software utilized was Solidworks. Most parts of this model were printed on an Ultimaker 2 with E3Dv6 Upgrade Kit, except for those noted otherwise. All joints were printed on a Makerbot Replicator 2. A color scheme of ColorFabb nGen Light Grey filament was employed throughout the build. Acrylic paint was applied to enhance the model's appearance, excluding ball/socket joints and elbow/knee joints. This mechanical marvel stands approximately 10 inches tall. It is comprised of 60 individual parts, each one carefully crafted for a seamless assembly experience. The Tetsujin 28-Go boasts an impressive 14 points of articulation, allowing users to pose it in various dynamic configurations. Note: a small amount of glue is required to complete the assembly process.
