Low poly swine
sketchfab
The way we label humans with words like swine, sow, and porker reveals how many people perceive pigs as unclean and inferior. This linguistic appropriation extends beyond just pigs, with terms like bitch and heifer also being used to belittle individuals. With PIGment, I aim to investigate this dynamic by artistically "tagging" 3D models with commonly employed derogatory words. The font, size, and color are designed to be striking and provocative, intended to convey the aggression often associated with these terms. By incorporating a tattoo aesthetic that typically features scripty cursive fonts, I seek to humanize this branding process, effectively elevating the pig's status to equal that of humans, rather than relegating it to an inferior position.
