Low Poly Sandals – Ninjaflex

Loosely inspired by Philippe Starck's Tong footwear, this low-poly sandal design is printed in Ninjaflex. Both left and right foot models are included. Ninjaflex can be challenging to print, but after a 15-hour print time per foot on my UM 2 (standard feeder) using 0.2mm layers at 235C with a speed of 20mm/s, the results were great. To achieve optimal results, I recommend printing without supports if possible, as those overhangs can appear lumpy. If you do need to use supports, they will greatly improve the print quality. A 20% infill is suggested for the best balance between weight and flexibility; the version shown has a 30% infill and feels slightly stiff. Enjoy!
