Low-poly Rose Twist Vase
thingiverse
I designed this low-poly twist vase specifically to hold the http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:84075 model and it looks fantastic when printed in really shiny or transparent materials.\nTIP: Keep in mind that the default size is quite small, so if you want one that's around 200mm high, scale it up by 165%.\nUPDATE: I recently printed a version of the vase scaled up to 165%, and it looks great even when it's bigger! Check out this video for proof: https://youtu.be/QR50FKFm7UU\nNote: I was fortunate enough to receive permission from jonasrh to use his photo (http://www.thingiverse.com/make:317855) of my vase as the cover image for this thing, and it turned out to be a very professional-looking picture =)\nNOTE: If you like this vase design, you might also enjoy the magnetic version that can stick onto various surfaces: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2551824\nPrint Settings\nPrinter: Original Prusa i3 MK2\nRafts: No\nSupports: No\nResolution: 0.2mm\nInfill: 0%\nNotes: The examples shown in the pictures were printed using T-Glase at a temperature of 240°C with an extrusion multiplier set to 1.25 and a layer height of 0.2mm, all within the twist vase mode (Slic3r). The cooling fan was kept at 40% for the entire print process (except for the first three layers).
