Overview: This is a Low-poly game-ready plastic military crate with five colours: olive, tan, brown, grey, and green. Modelled in 3DS Max 2016, the normal map was baked from a high poly model for added detail. Files are named using Unreal Engine 4 naming convention. The file is uploaded as a packed .7z file. Geometry: The package includes the base mesh and three LOD's in both .fbx and .obj file formats. Also included is a .uasset file with LOD's, collision, and a generated lightmap (place in your Unreal Engine 4 projects content folder). The dimensions of the 3DS Max model are approximately 0.8m x 0.4m x 0.4m in real world scale. The pivot is centered at X:0 Y:0 Z:0. Crate - 5,552 Tris LOD 1 - 3,486 Tris LOD 2 - 2,420 Tris LOD 3 - 1,148 Tris Crate Open - 6,212 Tris LOD 1 - 4,062 Tris LOD 2 - 3,006 Tris LOD 3 - 1,716 Tris Textures: One set of PBR textures at 2048x2048 in PNG format with a metalness workflow is used. Also contains two packed Metalness, Roughness, Ambient Occlusion maps. Included Maps: Metalness Albedo (A) Ambient Occlusion (AO) Metalness (M) Normal (N) Roughness (R) Packed M_R_AO Packed R_M_AO Final Notes: Additional albedo textures without labels are included. Also included is the 3DS Max scene saved as a 2013 version. The .uasset file does not have materials applied to prevent conflict with your UE4 project pipeline. Preview images are rendered in real-time in Marmoset Toolbag 3. LOD's are manually created instead of automatically generated. A UE4 simple box collision is used.
