Low-poly Ninja Turtle knife holder
prusaprinters

This is a remix and enhancement to an original low-poly ninja turtle:

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3286249/files

I've added a sword sheathe, “straps” to hold it, and a sewer lid/sidewalk base. There are also some slight additions to allow the fists to print without supports. I used tinkercad to alter the original, so if you open the .stl file, fair warning, it's ugly.

The pictures are straight off the printer after removing the support material. For the true Leonardo experience, you print in green PLA and put a touch of blue paint on the elbow/knee pads and bandana.

I've also includes a “Torso" file which includes the most difficult printing segment, so you can experiment with your own settings if you like, without having to dedicate 7 hours to getting to that point.

Prints well in PLA, .15mm “detail” setting in prusaslicer.

The attached gcode uses some supports under the crotch and shell. I also used variable layer height to make the base layers a bit thicker to shave off some print time.

Fits knives with up to 100mm blade length, blade width up to 28mm, blade thickness appx 2.25mm.
