Low poly mask party mix
thingiverse
This mask is a bold reinterpretation of Kongorilla's outstanding low poly design, made possible by his generous sharing of his Blender source file. Crafted from luxurious gold silk filament, this mask was printed specifically for the Rumpus Gold party in London; the low poly planes of the original mask perfectly suited the rich, shiny material used. A significant modification to Kongorilla's original file involved removing the chin and mouth sections, allowing wearers to comfortably drink even from pint glasses. Minor tweaks included raising the eyes a notch and adjusting them to match my own, as well as slightly angling the outer corners for an unsettling effect. After solidification of the surface, I also moved the internal bridge of the nose back a touch for added strength. This mask was printed at 100% infill density on a Creality Ender 5, taking less than 24 hours to complete. When scaled correctly to fit your head, this mask will stay securely in place as printed, without requiring elastic or additional support.
