I'm feeling responsible for relying on others' pre-made models, so I've taken the initiative to create my own from scratch. A standard hero character design is exactly what I had in mind. Feel free to take it and use it as you see fit - just be aware that it could benefit from a bit of refinement. My intention is to improve the facial structure with more advanced topology soon.
