Low-Poly Ice Berg (Spiral Vase Test)
thingiverse
I whipped up something with Makers Muse as my muse, and I can totally see this thing being used as a corporate trophy - pretty funny, huh? It's designed for spiral vase mode printing, which is an absolute blast because you get fast prints that look great and use minimal material. The only catch is the print is super weak due to those thin walls. My example uses just 22g of material! Not much more to say about this one. Have fun printing! Print Settings: Printer: Folger tech FT-5 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: Doesn't matter Infill: 0% Notes: Just use spiral vase mode (Slic3r recommend) and scale it to your heart's content! How I Designed This: Meshmixer stuff I imported a plane object, generated a complex mesh to boost poly-count, then decreased it slightly and manually tweaked certain vertices until it looked right. Honestly, I have no idea what I'm doing in Meshmixer, but this seems to have worked!
