Low Poly Horse Remix - Flat Feet
prusaprinters

The original low poly horse posted by H3phaestus42 had some triangles on the bottom of the horse's feet with minimal surface area contacting the build plate, which made the legs unstable while printing.

Using Meshmixer, I sliced off the bottom .2mm from the horse's feet to ensure the bottom of the feet were all on the same plane. This increases the surface area for the first layer, improves adhesion of the legs to the build plate, and makes the legs much more stable so they align better when connecting with the rest of the body.

I recommend printing with extra supports around the tail to reduce the risk of losing it before it is able to connect to the rest of the body. You can see the areas I have enforced in the included .3mf file. I also painted seams along the inside of the legs to hide them better.

I printed at 75% scale, .15mm layer height, and 15% infill, because that fit my needs, but thicker layers and less infill would likely work fine.
