Low-Poly Gastly

Low-Poly Gastly

My contribution to the Low-Poly Pokedex, everyone's favorite spooky ball: Gastly. His cloud can be printed hollow and looks great illuminated. As shown in the picture, I just set him on top of a flashlight, but rigging it up with LEDs would be a fun project! This was designed in OpenSCAD – the *.scad files are included for your modification. It can be printed in one piece (gastly.stl), but I recommend printing the pieces in different colors and assembling for full effect. If you're willing to paint pieces, you can get by with just purple and white -- I printed the body in purple, then painted it black except for the mouth. I printed the pupils in black but you could paint those too. The body can be printed a few different ways. In halves, or resting on one facet of the sphere. I preferred the latter for final orientation of the layer lines.
