Low Poly Fantasy World - The Castle
thingiverse
A whimsical castle, perfect for a fantasy enthusiast's collection. The entire structure can be printed in one piece or divided into triangle sections. To achieve a complete castle, print both types three times each. I scaled down the full castle version by 50% to create a more manageable design. Printing the pieces with feet extensions helps maintain sharp edges on the platform; simply clip off the excess once assembled. A brim is still recommended for printing the piece-based castle to ensure stable adhesion. In contrast, the whole castle version is easier to print due to its lack of sharp triangle edges. The castle can be printed in full color or single colors, and you're free to customize it with your preferred paint job. Two mesh versions are available: a source mesh and a remeshed version. If your slicer struggles with the original mesh, try using the "DynaMeshed-Fixed" files instead. To ensure seamless connections between pieces, print additional connection bits. The castle's design was inspired by the video game Last Knight and its 3D map. I also created Low Poly Fantasy Tabletop figures, which you can find here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1244599. While not compatible with this castle design, you could scale up the figures to match the tiles – though that would require significant enlargement.
