This iteration is rigged to test a pose, specifically one meant to portray a rough-around-the-edges character in a fantasy setting. However, this ruffian is currently just waiting for the protagonist's arrival, where he'll inevitably meet his demise - a fate that awaits all nameless antagonists. To rectify this awkwardness, I've added a tree for him to lean against, thus rescuing the pose from its previous ridiculous and unnatural state.
